Sentai Filmworks license The Book of Bantorra

Anime to be released in digital platforms, home video this year.
North American anime distributor Sentai Filmworks has announced on Friday that they have licensed the anime series The Book of Bantorra.
According to their press release, the 27-episode anime series will be released in both digital platforms and in Bilingual DVD later this year.
In a world where dead people turn into books stored in the Bantorra Library, anyone who reads a book can learn their past. The Bantorra Library is maintained by the Armed Librarians, who wield supernatural abilities. Their leader is the powerful woman Hamyuts Meseta whom their enemy – the psychotic religious cult known as Shindeki Church, is trying to assassinate in order to gain the secrets of the Bantorra Library. The Book of Bantorra (JP: Tatakau Shisho) is an anime adaptation of the light novel series written by Ishio Yamagata.
The series has been directed by Black Butler director Toshiya Shinohara. The series composition was handled by Mari Okada, who also handled Toradora!, GOSICK. The light novel series was also adapted into a manga, and was published on the Shueisha web comic magazine Ultra Jump Egg in 2008.
The anime series premiered on Anime channel ANIMAX Asia last October.
