Event to be held again at SMX Convention Center.

Cosplay.ph head Pablo Bairan has announced through his facebook account on Thursday that Cosplay Mania will be held this September 29 and 30.

Bairan also said that Cosplay Mania 12 will be held once again at the SMX Convention Center.

The first teaser poster of the popular cosplay event has also been released.

Bairan states that the reason for the announcement is for people can get better deals when they book their flights and accomodation to Manila for Cosplay Mania early.

“There are some Cosplayers from other countries inquiring so we decided to give the date out early so they can prepare ”, he said.

SM Tickets has released the official ticketing information for the event.

It says that the event will be held at the Function Halls 3, 4 and 5, and will cost PhP150 for the Fiesta Hall, and PhP250 for access to the Fiesta Hall and Main Stage.

Last year, it was announced that the Chinese costume maker Yaya Han and the popular Japanese cosplayer KANAME will be one of the confirmed guest of honor for the 5th edition of the event.

The inaugural Cosplay Mania was held in October 2008 at the SM Megamall – Megatrade Hall 3, and since 2010 has been holding the event at the SMX Convention Center.

The last Cosplay Mania event that was held in September was in 2009, just two weeks before Tropical Storm Ondoy (International Name: “Ketsana”) struck Metro Manila.
